Biodiversity and Ecology
Marscco provides a range of research services on biodiversity (species composition) and ecology of juvenile and adult fishes targeted to rapid Baseline Surveys, environmental impact assessments and monitoring. Services cover all aquatic habitats, from freshwater and estuarine systems to offshore deep-sea slope waters, with quantitative/qualitative data examined using standard univariate and multivariate statistics. Sampling methods include passive (netting) and active fishing, electrofishing and underwater visual surveys.
