Eggs and Larvae

Marscco provides sampling design, collection methods and identification of fish eggs and larvae (ichthyoplankton), as well as advice on multiple biological, ecological and fishery data Applications. It also provides Training Workshops on various aspects of early stage fishes, including data applications to fish and fisheries research.

Marscco's Director has long-term experience in ecological and taxonomic studies of early stage fishes.

His publication record on this field includes one major award-winning book - Larvae of Temperate Australian Fishes (Neira et al., 1998), some 50 papers published in peer-reviewed national and international journals, over 25 technical reports and report chapters and 37 book chapters.
